TWCA Mid-Year Conference

The TWCA 2019 Mid-Year Conference is set for June 19-21 at Moody Gardens Hotel on Galveston Island. Book your room by calling 1-888-388-8484 or visit the hotel website and use promo code TWCA62019. We are currently accepting speaker ideas. Please email Stacey Steinbach with topic recommendations.

As in previous years, we will have speaker sessions on Thursday afternoon and Friday morning. We will also have panel and committee meetings and a Board of Directors meeting. As usual, we will have multiple networking opportunities throughout the program, including the 13th Annual Jim Adams Memorial Golf Tournament and a beach clean up service project on Wednesday morning, a Membership and Services Committee reception on Wednesday evening, and a Conference Reception with heavy hors d'oeuvres Thursday evening. Early bird registration ends on May 24th! Please note that we cannot accept cancellations after May 26, 2019 except in cases of emergency. If you did not get in the hotel block and want to be on our waiting list, please fill out this waiting list form

Service Project
This year, we are planning our second beach clean up at Galveston Island State Park. In addition to the beach clean-up portion of the service project, we will conduct a nurdle (small plastic pellet) survey along the shore. Read more about nurdle research.
