Texas Water Conservation Association

Texas Water Conservation Association (TWCA) is a 501(c)(4) association of water professionals and organizations in the state of Texas. Our members represent river authorities, municipalities, navigation and flood control districts, drainage and irrigation districts, utility districts, groundwater conservation districts, all kinds of water users, and general/environmental water interests. The membership includes engineers, hydrogeologists, attorneys, government administrators, and numerous other individuals committed to Texas water resource management.

TWCA has a risk pool for its members called the TWCA Risk Management Fund. The association is also affiliated with the National Water Resources Association. This affiliation enables TWCA to participate in activities on the federal level pertaining to water resources and to secure prompt consideration of Texas water projects requiring federal assistance or participation. Below is TWCA's mission and an overview of the TWCA board and committee structure.

TWCA's mission is to build consensus, educate members, and advocate on water issues.
