TCEQ denies SMRF application

TCEQ Commissioners March 19 voted 3-0 to deny the San Marcos River Foundation's application for rights to 1.3 million AF of unappropriated water in the Guadalupe River. The Commissioners ruled they did not have express statutory authority to grant an environmental flow permit.
